To answer your questions: Am I allowed to edit them? You can find our Terms of Service for TechSmith Assets here: For some people, it will be expensive but to claim that the price should be set to match their personal budget is like claiming that Ferrari should sell cars for $500 because the current price "is a lot of money". Compared to most stock libraries, the price isn't disproportionate. It's the same as any other product on the market. If it doesn't (and for me, at present, it doesn't since I currently don't need that much stock content), you don't. Annoyingly, to me at least, this seems to completely disregard the fact that the people who create those things also need to eat and put a roof over their heads. What it comes down to is that if the assets have $199 / year worth of value to you (and for people who create a lot of diverse content, they can), then you buy it. There's an increasing expectation that "things on the web" should be if not free, at least at a minuscule cost. A 12 month subscription on Shutterstock will set you back a minimum of $348.Īnd people expect Techsmith to pay that kind of cost for them so that they can have "all you can eat" for a one off, lifetime payment of $199? A 12 month subscription on Storyblocks is $149 for images only. They are essentially sub-licencing them from other library sites like Storyblocks and Shutterstock and therefore paying those other sites for them. The thing that doesn't seem to be clearly understood is that for the overwhelming majority of these assets. Also, you won't find a decent sized media library, ANYWHERE, that will give you lifetime carte blanche to thousands of assets for a one off payment of $199. Make it $199 for a lifetime and it's guaranteed that they will. Make it $99 / year and Techsmith will probably lose money on the deal. In the future? I wouldn't rule it out.Ĭonsidering that this is an "all you can eat" deal out of a collection of about 400K assets (not the biggest collection on the web but hardly small), it's not awful value for heavy users of stock content. I expect that Techsmith still plans to make money on the deal but I don't think it'll be huge, gouging money.Īlso, you don't HAVE to pay the fee every year if you don't need the assets that year. And the ones that you have downloaded in previous years, you can keep using subject to the terms and conditions.Īm I planning to sign on? Probably not at this stage because I need only a limited amount of stock content, much of which I already have and the rest of which is unlikely to cost me that much per year, so I'll still be better off going elsewhere. You could get similar assets from other libraries (iStock, Shutterstock, Getty, Storyblocks, at least two of which are behind this collection) but I doubt that you'd end up paying LESS per asset that way, unless you used very few of the assets. The extra cost is for new and improved assets, many of which are externally sourced from existing libraries and therefore come at a cost to TechSmith. They aren't taking anything away from you. you DO still get the usual set of assets plus a few more.

Brookdaleīased on the famous Darlington track, this oval is slightly tighter at one end compared to the other. It takes a while to learn this track but, once you do, it’s very rewarding. Its flat profile is quite deceptive, with some corners carrying enough banking to make any car feel like it’s on an oval. It’s still the same beast as we’ve all come to know and love, though! Fast, challenging and dangerous – depending on the car and your racing line, a driver may just have to breathe off the throttle to safely navigate their way through the steeply uphill section of track, before rounding the blind crest through Radillon and powering down the Kemmel Straight and into the more technically challenging portion of the lap.RFactor 2 is known for its massive variety of tracks. Instantly recognizable throughout the world, Eau Rouge and Radillon offer up some of the most iconic tarmac in motorsport. This is one of the tightest corners on the track, and despite its relatively simple nature perhaps one of the most critical to get right for a competitive lap time – miss step on corner exit and you’ll be giving away time all the way down to perhaps the showcase corner of Spa-Francorchamps… Consisting of some of the best sections of corners anywhere in the world, including the exceptional Eau Rouge / Radillon complex and the fearsome Pouhon (now called Double Gauche) – almost every one of the 19 turns on this historic venue are noteworthy in their own right – so let’s take a look at some key highlights as we see what we have in store for our rFactor 2 drivers: Killing the enemy team is just one way to do it. The primary objective is planting/securing the Spike. After 12 rounds, whoever attacked first has to defend and defenders become attackers.Attackers and Defenders always spawn in the same spot.It is also important to remember certain key facts: There is simply no way of relaying information in a useful way without getting used to the map callouts. Split map callouts (Image credit: Blitz.gg) They have the advantage now, just by knowing where the Spike is. His teammates can now rush over for the numbers advantage and ignore the three attackers on B. Now, the one guy that’s gathering information on A-site has just told his team everything they need to know: The bomb is here and it’s just two people. In an alternative scenario, the one sole person that is lurking on A-site might have a map callout that goes like: “2 Hookah with Spike” They can maybe leave one guy at B to fool and engage the enemy and waste their time, while everybody else commits to A where they then have a 4v2 advantage and might secure the Spike. With his information, however, the defense now knows what to prioritize. Now, the defense might have originally sent 4 people to defend B-site with just one agent scoping out A-site. This means these attackers are a low priority and just trying to bait the defense into defending B-site while the others are planting on A-site. It tells the defenders everything they need to know: There are 3 attackers on the long corridor leading up to B, but they don’t have the spike. On a well-communicating team, you might hear a sentence such as: “3 B-long, no spike.”Ī perfect map callout. Let’s imagine we’re playing Defense on Bind. The map callouts on Bind (Image credit: Blitz.gg) The key is knowing the map callouts to convey information quickly and accurately. Therefore, long-winded sentences can be more distracting than helpful. In a game like Valorant, though, hearing the enemy is just as important as seeing them. All that information is useless if you can’t communicate it. Next, they work two days on, followed by three days off, before the cycle continues. Then, they work three days on, followed by two days off. They work two days on, followed by two days off. In this schedule, team members work in 12-hour shifts. The 2-2, 3-2, 2-3 work schedule is more common for team members who work around the clock, but it could inspire your work schedule template. As with other work schedules, check local and federal guidelines before trying to implement this schedule. This change to the team work schedule could improve work-life balance without disrupting communication with others in your industry. This benefits the team members because they receive a three-day weekend every other week. In this setup, team members work 80 hours over two weeks, but they do so by working five nine-hour days during week one, and four nine-hour days during week two. The 5-4/9 work schedule is a creative way to adjust your team members’ full-time hours. If you do try this type of work schedule, ensure you schedule team gatherings like meetings and workshops within the core hours when you know everyone will be at work. In this example, as long as each team member works eight hours per day, they’ve met their daily work requirement.įlex schedules aren’t available for every team, company, or country, but it may be a good solution to give your team the flexibility they need to get their best work done. A flex-time schedule might require core work hours of 10am to 2pm, while the other four hours are team members' choice. Flexibility can reduce employee turnover, which results in reduced labor costs. Many companies have adopted remote/flex-time schedules to give team members more freedom. When in doubt, check with your internal legal team to learn what part-time options are available for your team members, if any. There are a variety of local and federal laws that govern what part time work schedules may be available in your area. To set up part-time schedules, make a note of when these people are available to work and assign them tasks that they can work with others on during those allotted times. You may have part-timers for roles that don’t require as much work, or because a team member doesn’t want to work full time. Part–time team members work fewer than a full work week. You can set up a full-time schedule for your team members by keeping deadlines and task start dates within these hours. This will make communication with partners or stakeholders easier. If you use this work schedule, you’ll usually work at the same time as others on your team. Other countries, like France, might have other legal definitions of what “full time” means-so always check with your internal legal and HR teams if you haven’t already. For example, in the United States, a full time schedule means team members work 40 hours per week-traditionally from 9 a.m. Some of the most common types of work schedules include: Full-timeĪ full-time schedule means your team members are working a traditional work week. Always make sure to follow local and federal laws when assigning work schedules. But before making any changes to your team’s work schedule, make sure to check with your internal legal team. Your team members may appreciate flexibility with their day instead of sticking to a 9-to-5 schedule. While your company may stick to a traditional full-time schedule, it can be helpful to familiarize yourself with other work schedule types. A software engineer may work the night shift to keep systems running for daytime workers, and an operations manager may have extended shift schedules to watch over manufacturing. Work schedules vary between industries, roles, and countries. Although creating a work schedule template is complex, you can use scheduling tools to create endless customization options. There are many types of work schedules to choose from, depending on your business needs. By visualizing your team’s tasks in advance, you enable team collaboration and keep projects on track. This type of documentation might sound simple, but it’s essential for your team’s structure. In this article, we’ll dive into the different types of work schedules, how you can create one, and how an online tool gives you the flexibility to change your work schedule and collaborate with team members across projects.Ī work schedule is a way to document when your team members are working and what they are working on. A work schedule is a simple document-but you can take this document to the next level by adding project timelines and task assignments. Use a work schedule to clarify which team members are working, when. If a multi-well pad is used, once the rig is rigged-up for the first well, then the rig can simply be skidded over to the next location without having to dig-down. Transporting and assembling the rig may take 50-75 workers (two crews), 35 – 40 vehicles, and take up to four days. Here is a YouTube video, "Rigging up Land Drilling Rig" (3:35), showing the Rigging Up process of the derrick: Included in the rigging up process is setting-up all of the rig systems and testing these systems. Rigging up the well consists of taking the rig modules from the trucks and assembling the rig. Once on the well site or well pad, the rigging-up process begins. Most land rigs, particularly those in North America, are transported on multiple trucks. Move-In and Rig Up ( MIRU): Once the wellsite is prepared and the conductor casing is in-place, the rig is brought on location. The conductor casing is then cemented into place. The objective of the conductor casing is to isolate the wellbore from the top soil to ensure that loose debris does not enter the well during early drilling operations. The conductor casing is typically set through the top soil and loose rocks to the bed rock. The conduct casing may go to depths of 40 to 300 ft depending on the location. In soft rock regions or at offshore locations, a diesel hammer may be used to hammer the conductor casing into place. Set the Conductor Casing: Prior to the arrival of the drilling rig, an Auger Unit (in hard rock regions) will drill a large diameter hole capable of accommodating 18 in.As we discussed in earlier lessons, a lot of site-preparation time and the environmental footprint can be minimized if multi-well pads are used in the field development. The site preparation may involve multiple contractors and companies to perform all of the required work. Prepare the Wellsite: The site preparation involves building clearing land for use by the rig, building access roads to the well site or well pad, construct infrastructure for water, water disposal, and electricity, dig and line all mud pits to prevent ground water or water table contamination, dig reserve pits for cutting storage (for eventual disposal), and drill the holes which will eventually become the rat hole and the mousehole.Preliminary surface locations and well trajectories may be altered from the original well proposal to avoid these shallow gas hazards. Perform Shallow Gas Survey: To ensure there are no shallow gas hazards which may result in a kick or blow out, a shallow gas survey is performed to identify the locations and depths of any potential shallow gas hazards. In addition, all permits (environmental, safety, regulatory, etc.) are acquired during the final stages of the planning process when a solid well proposal is developed. Once the surface locations and well objectives are known, the geologists work with the drilling engineers to develop the detail drilling proposals.

There are a lot of gamers who haven’t spent hours playing Counter-Strike or similar games. Also addressed was the issue where push-to-talk doesn’t work together with the Buy screen. Other quality-of-life fixes include party groups appearing in the wrong section. Similarly, Killjoy’s utilities now fade back into stealth mode after returning from their disabled state. Omen no longer gets interrupted when he’s debuffed with a Suppressed status as he teleports. Shorty, which is the secondary shotgun weapon, has reduced reserves and increased prices.Īgent abilities, on the other hand, were fixed from bugs. Beyond that, most guns have changed prices. For example, zipline or rope movement has adjusted spreads for mid and far-range shots, making ropes advantageous for close-range fights but not anywhere else. Most of these changes are geared toward reducing gunfire accuracy during movement. There are nine playable maps in all, seven of which are kept available as a part of a map rotation scheme, applying to both Unrated and Competitive gaming modes.Īs of the 6.11 Patch, most guns have undergone accuracy adjustments. For example, every Act sees players rotate between its various maps. One unique trait of Valorant as a competitive online first-person shooter is that Riot continues to tweak the game years after its original release. As such, the PC game leverages routers added physically to the service providers’ data centers. Riot Games has partnered with a range of ISPs around the world. It allows you to establish stable and fast game connections. In order to ensure lag-free experience, Valorant also uses Riot Direct, which is a global networking infrastructure. On the other hand, advanced computer systems support 60 - 144 frames per second. With minimum system requirements, the game runs at 30 frames per second. The game offers a 128-tick rate for specific servers in every region. In addition to this, players can be assured of a lag-free experience. It’s being used in this shooting game, and gives Valorant the capability to give characters precise and rapid gun reflexes. Riot Games had initially developed the same-server technology for League of Legends. Without a doubt, the gunplay in this strategy game is as lethal as other titles in the action genre. Rifles can be used to kill enemies in a few shots to the body. With excellent reflexes and accuracy, the game lets you kill enemies in a single headshot. Some of the most popular offerings include SMGs, sidearms, snipers, melee, heavies, and rifles. The action game lets you purchase various weapons, secondary abilities, and other skills at the beginning of each mission. Like Counter-Strike and other similar games in this category, the heroes aren’t locked into using a single weapon throughout the journey. Overall, Valorant gives you numerous options to mix and match strategies and use unique abilities to affect the gameplay and storyline. It’s important to note that most abilities are somewhat similar to Overwatch, except specific character abilities that last multiple rounds. Some characters need to be purchased with in-game currency, which can be earned while playing the game. This keeps you engaged with multiple storylines and skill sets. Since various achievements allow you to unlock the full roster, you get access to numerous hero characters with unique abilities. What about the gameplay?Ĭurrently, the PC game features eight primary characters, namely Omen, Cypher, Brimstone, Phoenix, Sage, Jett, Sova, and Vyper. It’s worth mentioning that the learning curve can be steep, and you need to play the game quite a few times to master the art of killing and defense. Whether you want to play Valorant for a short duration or hours in one go, you’ll feel overjoyed with the brilliant gameplay, amazing weapons, superb cast, and engaging storylines. Fortunately, the gameplay and graphics have lived up to the hype. Since Riot Games has been a leading developer in the industry, the release of this shooting game piqued interest among global gamers. Random headshots, thrilling bomb plants, and ferocious attacks are the key takeaways from the game’s sequences. A solid shooting game with multiple weapons |
